Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Will be picked up from your accommodation and drive across a beautiful and scenic Masai Steppe to Makuyuni junction and take left along the Arusha – Dodoma Highway towards Tarangire National Park, a drive that will take only 2 hours at most. Arrive at the gate of the park at Tarangire and after your driver has sorted out the paperwork you start game drives almost straight away from the gate in a bid to see as many animals and birds as possible. Tarangire is known for two aspects, large baobabs and the largest herds of elephants but there is more to visiting the park than just that. The park hosts a lot of migratory big game and small animals ( that migrate between here and Manyara) but also a lot of birdlife including some very rare and almost indigenous only to this park-like the Ashy Starlings for example. Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Early morning breakfast at around 0700am. After breakfast, we leave the accommodation and proceed to Serengeti National Park with a packed hot lunch via the Ngorongoro Crater Rim viewing game en route. Serengeti National Park is a vast treeless plain with thousands, even millions of animals searching for fresh grasslands. As the largest national park in Tanzania, the Serengeti attracts thousands of tourists each year. The best months for wildlife viewing are between December and June. The wet season is from March to May, with the coldest period from June to October. The annual migration of millions of zebra and wildebeests takes place in May or early June. This migration is one of the most impressive natural events and the primary draw for many tourists. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage lodge
Day 3: Serengeti National Park Game
Drive We spend this full day in Serengeti National Park exploring morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti then Ngorongoro
Early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park later on we return back to the lodge for breakfast. We leave the camp and drive with packed lunch game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Located between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to the famous volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and one of Tanzania’s most popular wildlife viewing areas. And dinner and ovenight at Rhino lodge
Day 5: Ngorongoro crater then Arusha
Early morning breakfast then we descend to the Crater floor with our lunch for a game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact ancient caldera in the world, nearly three million years old. It is said that the Ngorongoro volcano was one of the world’s tallest mountains before it exploded and collapsed. And later we drive back to Arusha
